#Bronies Chat Rules

Everypony is welcome. Brony, Pegasister, mlp fans, non-fans alike!

0) DeviantART policy is the rule above all rules. You are responsible for anything you say in the channel, and if you post inappropriate links, being unfamiliar with deviantART Policy is not an excuse, and violations will be dealt with harshly. To ensure that you understand what qualifies as unacceptable content, you may read about it here.


1) No excessive use of CAPS LOCK or bold. (EX: I WANT TO BE ANNOYING! or I want to be annoying!)

2) We expect everyone to be readable and to try to avoid using "txt speak" to the point that we cannot understand you.

3) Do not use excessive profanity. (Please keep in mind that we are a PG-13 chatroom. Keep discussion and content age appropriate, please!)

4) Be polite and courteous to all users in the chat.

5) As a common courtesy, please refrain from discussing the most recently aired episode in the main channel for at least two days after the official air date.

6) Keep Roleplay in #BroniesRP. In addition, keep spoiler/new episode talk in #MLPFIMBroniesTalk.

7) Please do not stretch text (wooooooooooooooo, hahahahahahahahahaha) or spam/flood avatars, thumbs, emoticons, smilies or bot commands. (In addition to icon spam, please do not post flashing icons, as some of our members may be epileptic.)

8) Please do not use the /everyone command.

9) Do not use multiple or alternate accounts in the chat room at a single time. Please alert us if you decide to use a different account.

10) Your account is your responsibility. Due to a number of claims of "My [sibling/friend/other] did it," we need to make it clear that the security of your account is your responsibility alone. Any actions taken by someone with access to your account are your responsibility and will not be excused by 'It wasn't me!'

11) Please do not advertise other chat rooms by linking the whole chat to them. Talking about them is okay, asking everybody to join them is not. Linking a chat to one person to ask for a private chat, however, is fine.

12) Practice respect. Our mods/admins are responsible for the enforcement of the rules, listen to them. If a mod/admin tells you to stop spamming, or cease a line of discussion, don't argue with them about it. As an extension of this, our jobs cannot be completed if you have us ignored, as such it is against the rules to do so.
